The comedy works so much better when the guys play it straight. Agreed. And that's why I've never really liked the SPN humor eps (with the exception of Hell House, because the boys still played the straight men and let Hellhounds play for the laughs...)
Sam and Dean do sarcastic snark like nobody's business but their comedy always just seems to come off as slapstick.
