Saw Pirates. It rocked (spoilers under cut).
So is POtC fandom exploding over that three way between Jack, Will and Norrington or what?
What do you mean, Elizabeth/Jack? Pshaw. JACK, WILL AND NORRINGTON! Looking hot! Fighting each other! Three ways! Oh, the heat! More of that please (memo: must find fic).
Anyway it was hilarious, more Captain Jack, more Orlando, more Rum, more slapstick, more adventure, more everything. Completely lacking the original impact of the first, of course, but that will happen. I'll want to see it a few more times.
Except that I thought the Davy Jones villains were too CGI and overdone... actually not as scary or intimidating as Barbossa's crew was. Just, more of the same.
Is the Kraken from Greek Myth (like Scylla), or is it from Jules Verne? *looks it up* ...heh. When I type "Kraken" in google I get all these pages about the Dutch word kraken, which means squatting (houses). Okay, so the monster Kraken seems to come from Norse Mythology.
Not too much more to say, except, when is part 3 coming out?
