Kitten update

Soooo... I haven't posted in a while, but how can I deprive the world from pictures of adorable kittens? Well, you just can't!

Here the kitties are 2 weeks old:

This pic is the one where kitty no. 2 (on the left), got his name "Jack Nicholson" from. Maybe I'm the only one to see that. The grey's temporary name is "Junior" (you'll know why when you see my other cat - who is not the dad by the way), and the black's "Little Loser" (Kneusje in Dutch), for always losing out, and getting crapped on by her siblings (literally, unfortunately). Though here she sort of invokes the new reincarnation of basement cat. Still cute though.

Mommy Lex and Junior:

Lex still looks pretty healthy here. As the weeks progressed she got skinnier (despite eating like a horse) and more haggard looking with nerves. Hey, you would too, if you had destructive triplets that sucked you dry...

A jump to 4 weeks old (look how those ears have grown!):

Being way too cute:

I am Jack's closeup - he likes his toes:

I am Jack's table manners:

Indy is not amused by this invasion of his privacy:

He tries to initiate his Laser Death Ray Eyes (tm)... but fails:

Can you imagine I have to give 2 of these away to people? I hate people.

Awwwww. My urge to get a cat of my own grew wildly upon reading your post ...

Until I read the *very next one* (bar one) in my Friends List here. Hmmm. *reconsidering*

I couldn't read the message sinds it was flocked, but I'm guessing it's about the destructive nature of kitties? They're worth it, I promise! I am currently on the couch with 3 kitties snuggled into my side: Your heart just melts (yes, you do meanwhile eye the utter devastation that is your house, but if you squint you barely notice it!) :)

It was about a kittie with a cold - sneezing kittie germs and other things more substantial - onto its pet human's face every thirteen seconds ... and crying when locked outside the bedroom. Microbes, mucus and misery all bundled into one.

But yes, I've read about the destructive feline force as well.

Still, it would be nice to have a kit to cuddle ... hmmm ... maybe you could stick one of yours in a box and post it to me? :-)
